This example is for spatially explicit delta method run on the ATMOS CLUSTER.

Static links means that the VIC code was compile on the hydro cluster using static links to allow 
for running on the atmos cluster.  DO NOT RECOMPILE on atmos cluster.  Just run the executable.   
C math libraries differ between the two systems.

In the pertfile, keep the three rows of zeros - these are triggers 
to turn on the detrending feature for the historical
data (removes the historic trend based on provided bracketting years).

The other pertfiles contain the monthly perturbations for each grid cell.  We typically say that 
the tmin and tmax perturbations are the same (i.e. no change in diurnal range of
temperature).
